Manager’s thoughts….

My philosophy is to make it Fun, the girls will listen and it isn’t just about Football. When I started leading the team I decided for the first few weeks to incorporate those types of things, gymnastics, dancing, doing different crazy things in amongst the football to make it fun. It’s not all about winning (although that has been a really nice benefit), the girls are transferring their training onto the pitch and it’s great to see them working hard for each other.

The Team….

The Squad has grown and developed at a fantastic rate, in Sept 2018 when Summer joined the Unicorns (as we call the under 8’s), there were 3 girls. This has now developed with a recruitment drive and word of mouth to a squad of 16 registered players. The numbers turning up to training are always high now and we regularly take 2 teams along to matches against other teams. They are a great group, full of enthusiasm and lots of smiles and their performances on the pitch are great too, They have participated in a number of festivals this season and have scored 115 goals combined with less than 30 conceded.
